Marilyn Rypkowski

Marilyn M. Rypkowski,  71, of Alba, passed away on September 3, 2021 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

She was born on December 6, 1949, in Petoskey, MI, the daughter of Cal and Dorothy (Kline) Beckner.

She was a longtime resident of Alba where she served for many years as the Star Township Clerk.

Marilyn enjoyed doing puzzles, flowers, birds, and was an avid NASCAR fan, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers and a Die hard follower of Law and Order.

Surviving are 2 children, Steve (Melissa) Rypkowski of Alba, Sherry (Lee) Jenkins of Fife Lake, 3 grandchildren, Lance (Catelyn) Rypkowski, of Gaylord, Luke (Jessie) Rypkowski of Gaylord and Hannah Jenkins of Fife Lake.

Preceding her in death were her husband Chet Rypkowski and her parents.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.   Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of services at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Star Township Cemetery, Alba.
