Marilyn Oyer

Marilyn J. Oyer, 70, of Custer Township, passed away on November 26, 2015 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. Marilyn was born on June 22, 1945, in Greenfield, OH, the daughter of Allen and Lorieta (Garringer) Bebb. Marilyn was a past member of the Alden United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping, painting, animals and was Den Mother for Cub Scouts. On February 14, 1966, in Good Hope, OH, she married Ronald A. Oyer who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Rhonda Oyer of Charlotte, MI, a son Daniel (Cynthia) Oyer of Mancelona, a brother Dean (Jodi) Bebb of Williamsport, OH, a sister Janet Bebb of Mancelona, 3 grandchildren, Neil, Stephanie and Allen (Samantha) , 2 great-grandchildren, Landin and Login as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Todd Shafer will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday from 6-8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Chapman Cemetery, Custer Township.
