Marie Castiglione

Marie H. Castiglione,  93, of Charlevoix, formerly of Central Lake, passed away on March 22, 2021 at the American House.

Marie was born on July 15, 1927, in Hamtramk, MI, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Oleski) Malkowski.

She was a long time member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire and was in the Red Hat Society as well as the Central Lake Lady Lions Club.

She enjoyed bowling, making ceramics, playing the accordion and wintering in St. Petersburg, FL, with her late husband Amedeo.

Marie is survived by 3 sons, Mike (Linda) Castiglione of Charlevoix,  Tom Castiglione of Boyne City, Dan (Becky) Castiglione of Fort Worth, TX, a son-in-law Marc Vadnais of Fenton, MI, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Amedeo Castiglione, a daughter Janet Vadnais, 5 siblings and her parents.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire with Fr. Chet Collins officiating.   Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of Mass at the church.

Burial will be at a later date Southern Cemetery in Central Lake Township.
