Marian "Jean" Hoag

Marian “Jean” V. Hoag passed away peacefully on January 29, 2017, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan.

Jean was born September 27, 1919, to Carl and Beatrice Finstrom in Detroit.

She married James Hoag on February 27, 1937, in Detroit. They made their home in Detroit, and Skidway Lake. James passed away in October 1994, and Jean later moved to Charlevoix.

She is survived by four children, Judy Melke of Charlevoix, Janet Krupski of Plymouth, Jim Hoag of East Jordan, and Jerry Hoag of Newport. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two son-in-laws, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter.
