Mabel Lucille Price

Mabel L. Price,  91, of Alba, passed away on December 10, 2022 at her home.  

She was born on April 18, 1931, in Owosso, MI, the daughter of Carl and Mereta (Gould) Fry.

Mabel was a long time resident of Alba and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and playing Yahtzee and Sorry.   On October 4, 1981, she became a member of the Alba United Methodist Church.   She also held memberships  at the Red Hat Society, Chapter 51134 (Scarlet Ladies of Alba) and the Mancelona Moose Lodge.

Surviving are 9 children, Claudia (Terry) Tressler of FL, Linda (Frank) Rebec of Alba, Terry (Deb) Coon of Elmira, Connie Russell of FL, Tammy Coon (Friend Rick) of Flint, Tina (Gary) Tubbs of Alba, Scott (Penny) Coon of Alba, Dean Price II of FL, Chet (Lisa) Price of WI.

Also surviving are 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband Dean Price, 3 brothers, George, Jim and Don Fry, 2 sisters, Blanche Domke, Leila Fales and her parents Carl Fry and Mereta Rohde.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Rev. Sam McClellan officiating.   Visitation from 11 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will take place in Star Township Cemetery, Alba.
