Lynn-Rae Holmes

Lynn-Rae Holmes, 59, of Charlevoix, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015, at her home. She was born August 30, 1956, in Methuen, Mass. to Raymond and June (Schoff) Riel. Lynn-Rae graduated from Dracut High School in 1974.

She worked as a medical assistant while living in Massachusetts.

On June 15, 2003, she married Alan Holmes in Salisbury, Mass, and made their home in Charlevoix. She worked at Manthei Inc. as a lumber grader for five years.

Lynn-Rae was a member of the Elks, Moose, and Eagles Lodges. She loved to travel and most importantly to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Alan of Charlevoix; son, London Loukx, III and significant other Alexander Zoellner of New Market, N.H.; daughters, Tanya Loukx and fiancé Jamison Trzcinski of Lowell, Mass., and Keri Casbohm of Boyne City; grandchildren, Kiandra Loukx, Evan, Madisyn, and Zachary Casbohm; father, John Schiripo, Jr. of Dracut, Mass.; brother, Glenn Riel of Dracut; sisters, Donna and husband Robert Anders, and Dianna Philbrick both of East Jordan; nieces, Amie Blackwell and Larissa Grunert; nephews, Robert Anders and Justin Riel. Lynn-Rae was preceded in death by her mother, June.

Visitation will begin at 1pm. Saturday, December 19, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix, where a prayer service will be recited at 3pm.
