Lyndon Smedley

LYNDON "LYN" SMEDLEY, 60, of Central Lake, died on December 2, 2009 at her home. Lyn was born on February 14, 1949 in Rochester Hills, the daughter of Albert and Monoco (Wilkens) Franks. Lyn worked as an operator for AT & T in Traverse City for many years and enjoyed shopping, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by 3 sons, Dustin Shaw, Dwayne (Christina) Shaw, Danny (Cheryl Cutler) Shaw all of Central Lake, 4 grandchildren, Charles, Espn, Angel, Hanah, a brother Larmer (Carol) Franks of Tennessee and a sister JiJi (Jerry) St. Charles of Whitmore Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Smedley in 1991. Funeral services will take place on Tues., Dec. 8, 2009 at Eleven a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Rev. Andrew Pomerville will officiate. Visitation will take place on Mon. from 6-8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
