Lorraine Clark

Lorraine E. Clark, 85 of Central Lake, died Monday, June 22, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 9, 1924, in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Harry and Marguerite (Perkins) Craig. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family and having family gatherings. She also enjoyed cooking, yard sales, singing and her church, Lighthouse Pentecostal Tabernacle. On July 30, 1945, in Fremont, Ohio, she married Albert Clark who preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Mel, Vibert and King Craig. Lorraine is survived by her children Sharon (Kenn) Kiessel of Central Lake, Joanne Plummer of Central Lake, Patsy (Ed) Watrous of Bellaire, Donna Parisot of Ellsworth, Red (Cheryl) Clark of Central Lake, and Betty (Mark) Osborn of Eastport; 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brother Fyles Craig of Gaylord and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, at One p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Mark Belanger officiating. Interment will follow in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Twp. The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. also at the funeral home.
