Lori Brandt

Lori Elaine Brandt, 62, of Mancelona, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Kalkaska Memorial health Center.  She was born on November 9, 1961, in Cadillac, MI, the daughter of Jack Cederberg and Joyce Cooley.

Lori spent much of her time outdoors, and especially enjoyed boating with her husband, Mike, and spending time at the beach with her family. One of her favorite spots was Grand Marais in the UP.  Her family was very important to her, and she spent as much time with her nieces and nephews as she could.  She loved her cats as well, and liked to feed the birds and watch them out the window.

She worked as the office manager for Torch Lake Tree Pro for many years, and did bookkeeping for Grass River Natural Area, the Three Lakes Association, and the Torch Lake Protection Alliance.  Lori was a mostly private person, but those who knew her will miss her dearly.

Lori is survived by her beloved husband, Mike Brandt; two sisters, Shelly (Dave) Taff of iron Mountain, and Colleen (John) Cannon of TN; two brothers, David (Cindy) Foster of Davison, and Doug (Julie) Cederberg of Cadillac; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
