Lois L. “Gigi” Robinson, 89, of Alden, passed away on March 5, 2018 in Alden.
Lois was born on December 14, 1928, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Challes and Hazel (Briggs) Maxwold.
Lois was kind hearted soul who would help anyone in need. Her biggest passion in her life was taking care of and spending time with her family. She volunteered for the Michigan Blood Drive, and was active in the Mancelona Senior Center.
She enjoyed crafting, geniology, going to garage sales, collecting salt and pepper shakers, light houses but most of all eating ice cream which in her words was the cure all for anything.
She is survived by 3 children, Dan (Missy) Robinson of Seward, AK, Clarence “Freddy” (Carol) Robinson of Flint, Arla Douglas of Alden, a step-daughter Eleanor Updike of NY, a special son Mike (Edna) Lanning of Alden, a half brother, Tom Maxwold, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Robinson, son George Robinson, infant baby boy Robinson, infant brother Bobbie, great-granddaughters Natasha and Sophie, son-in-law Donald Douglas, her parents and a half sister Carol Gordon.
There will be no public services.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Rapid City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Antrim County Meels on Wheels.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
