Lisa James

Lisa Ann James was born November 2, 1969 and died unexpectedly on October 17, 2018 at her home in Greenville, SC.  She was adopted in the Etcher family a few days after she was born.  She is survived by father Lyle Etcher, her husband Anthony James, daughter Aryana James,

brother Tom Etcher and his wife Amy, nephew James, and niece Sarah.  She was proceded in death by her mother Shirley Etcher who passed away in 2016.

Lisa graduated from East Jordan High School in 1987.  She loved traveling to her daughter’s soccer tournaments, going out with friends and family, and helping people anyway she could.  She was known for being a very friendly, compassionate, and loving person and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 27th at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Home, 2333 S. Main St., Central Lake, MI with a visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of service.  Interment will be in Dunsmore Cemetery, Echo Township.

To assist the family, they ask that memorial contributions be made out to Mortensen Funeral Home to help cover the costs of the service, or through a Go Fund Me started by Aryana James and is noted on her Facebook page.
