On Tuesday, December 27th, 2022, Lionel Lee Cryderman passed away. He was seventy two. Known as Lonny, he was beloved by family and friends. Born on Friday the 13th of October, 1950 to Betty and Leo Broughton, with a broken arm that foreshadowed a lifetime of pain, grit, and determined strength. He was later adopted by his stepfather, Bill Cryderman.
Lonny lived his life full of love for everyone in it. He didn't let any amount of pain or inconvenience stop him from doing everything he could for those he loved. Right up to his last day.
Lonny always had a smile for every person he encountered, no matter the day he was having. He loved to reminisce about the days he worked the hardest, on the oil rigs. There is not one man you will find that was tougher, kinder, or stronger of will. He was a mechanic, and would always drop everything to get anyone out of a bind, without hesitation and despite chronic pain and heart failure that would render most people unable to get out of bed in the morning. And always with a sense of humor.
Lionel was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Victor and Charles. He is survived by his wife, Tammy, and his siblings, Mary, John, and Karen as well as his children, Christopher, Mark, Joshua, Tonia, Anita, Stacey, Victoria and Jazlyn and many grand children and great grand children.
Lonny will have a celebration of life on memorial day, 2023.
