Linda Salo

Linda Sue Salo, 62, died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by family. Linda was born August 14, 1950 in Midland, Michigan. She married Kenneth William Salo on October 23, 1971 at First Methodist Church, Midland. She graduated from Midland High School and earned degrees from Northwood Institute (Midland) and Saginaw Valley State University. Linda held various positions at Dow Chemical Company, Currie Kendall Law Firm, Junior Achievement, Dow Corning and Arthur Andersen- all in Midland. Linda enjoyed reading, golfing, biking, quilting, sewing, painting, Zumba classes and spending time with family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband, Ken, sisters Judy (Roger) Bishop, Karen (Michael) Biskup, Pamela (Carney) Brink, niece and goddaughter Holly (Alan) Kern, niece Brenda Brink and great-goddaughter, Hannah Kern. Linda was predeceased by parents Milton and Eleanor Hutson. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Church in the Hills, Bellaire. Pastor David Ramage will officiate. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church until time of service.
