Linda Lorraine Earle Duncan

Linda Lorraine Earle Duncan, 75, of Central Lake, passed away on January 19, 2022 at Medilodge of Traverse City.

She was born on November 23, 1946, in Highland Park, Michigan. She grew up in Hazel Park, where she graduated high school. Shortly after graduation she moved to Central Lake, where she has called home ever since. She worked at Central Lake Industries-Destaco for 27 years.

On June 28, 2009, Linda married her true love, Cliff Duncan, who survives. Also surviving are her 2 daughters, Tammy (Stacey) Geik of Kalamazoo and Wendy (Dean) Viles of Petoskey, grandchildren Jordyn Geik, Mitchell Geik, Killian (Erin) Viles and Hunter (Charlee) Viles, and great-grandchildren Addie, Heidi, Sadie and Arie. Also surviving are her sister Sharon LaPointe (St Clair Shores) and her nephews Eric (Ginny) Dudley and Adam (Ori) Dudley. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde Earle and Dorthea Blimke Earle and her brother Jack Earle.

Linda loved spending time with others, whether it was at the beach, swimming in her pool or enjoying a meal. When she wasn't entertaining family and friends on her deck she was probably golfing, bowling, watching the Detroit Tigers or hanging out with her very dear friends. Her favorite was spending time with her husband Cliff. They spent the past 10 winters in Naples, Florida where they were able to enjoy their favorite activities in the warm sunshine and grab a bite to eat at her favorite place, Pinchers. Wherever she was, she was the life of the party, easily making friends and ready to share a laugh. Her smile will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, at 3 pm at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with visitation from 2pm until the time of services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Antrim County Animal Shelter.
