Leonard Gamble

Leonard J. Gamble, 73, of Mancelona, passed away on Dec. 23, 2013 in Muskegon. Leonard was born on September 13, 1940 in St. Ignace, the son of Roy and Elizabeth (Allen) Gamble. Leonard was a resident of Mancelona since 1965 and was employed by Dura Automotive for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, photography, making crafts of all types and loved going to McDonald's in the mornings for coffee. He is survived by his daughter Lorrie Gamble (Dana Jensen) of Muskegon, 2 brothers, Duane Gamble of St. Ignace, Doug Gamble of Eaton rapids, MI, a sister Marvel Walker of St. Ignace, 4 grandchildren, Nathan (Jen) Cantrell, B.J.(Michelle)Ruiz, Hollie (David) Cummings and Ashley Ruiz as well as 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and his parents. Funeral services will take place on Thur., Dec. 26, at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Yousef "Yogi" Jabara will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
