Leila Fales

Leila A. Fales, 78, of Alba, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. Leila was born June 3, 1934 in Owosso, the daughter of Carl and Mereta Fry. Leila was involved in the Red Hats Society and cooking breakfast at the Alba Sportsmans Club. She enjoyed playing euchre and loved flowers. She was a CENA at Meadow Brook for 30 years as she has been in the area since 1973. She is survived by six children Carl Fales, Sherry (John Ciofani) Fales, Cathy (Robert) Cislo, David (Sue) Fales, Tim Fales and Kevin (Annette) Fales; sister Mabel Price; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Walt in 2006; three brothers, one sister and her great-granddaughter Natasha. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
