Lawrence Lanore

LAWRENCE R. "LARRY" LANORE 72, of Bellaire, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. He was born the son of Frank and Sarah (Hosler) Lanore on November 19, 1934. He returned to Bellaire where he was raised following retirement from General Motors Corporation in Flint. He attended Bellaire High School and served in the US Army in the Korean War. Surviving are several cousins, including Marlene Wilks (Robert) Hardy of Bellaire. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Rev. Mary Brown officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antrim County Commission on Aging.
