Larry Webster

Larry R. Webster, 61, of Mancelona, passed away on June 29, 2013 at his home. Larry was born on March 25, 1952, the son of Robert and Berle (Arnold) Schultz. Larry was a resident of Mancelona for the past 20 years and had been employed by Meeder Lumber in Mancelona for 25 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He was a very giving man who loved to help out his family and friends even if it meant he came second. On April 2, 1982, in Bellaire, he married Barbara Jean LaVanway who survives. Also surviving are 2 children, Tina Moggo of Kalkaska, Samantha Webster of Mancelona, 3 brothers, Leslie (Dorothy) Webster of Muskegon, MI., Pete Schultz of California, Edward Schultz of Onaway, 2 sisters, Bonnie Collins of Detroit, Isabella (Sonny) of Onaway, 2 grandsons, Richard and Anthony LaVanway as well as numerous in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Butch. Memorial services will take place on Friday, July 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Church of the Nazarene.
