Larry Trever

Larry R. Trever, 63, of Lakes of the North, passed away on March 14, 2015 at his home. Larry was born on January 3, 1952, in Detroit, the son of Joseph and Verna (Stark) Trever. Larry resided in Lake of the North since 1987. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, cooking, working on vintage automobiles and tractors and loved being a prankster and practical joker. He is survived by 3 brothers, Gene (Carol) Trever of Ray Township, MI, Rick (Lisa) Trever of Elmira, Ken (Nancy) Trever of Milford, MI as well as 13 nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents Joseph and Verna, a brother Joseph Trever, sister Delores Trever and a nephew Joel Trever. A Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 19 from 4-8 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Burial will take place at a later date when weather permits. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
