LARRY McCULLOCH

LARRY S. McCULLOCH, 78, of Alden, passed away on October 18, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. Larry was born on May 29, 1934, in Beaverton, MI., the son of Willis Sr. and Virginia (Evans) McCulloch. Larry was an Alden resident since 1977, previously residing in Beaverton for many years. He attended the Alba United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing, fabricating equipment and gold prospecting, even as far as Alaska. On December 14, 1952, in Beaverton, he married JoAnn Blades who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, Gregory McCulloch of Alden, Kathy (Bob) Killian of Beaverton, Sheryl (Charlie) Eagle of Gladwin, Rick (Debbie) McCulloch of Alden, 4 grandchildren, Bobby (Tammy) Killian of Beaverton, Aimee Eagle of Negaunee, Season (Aaron) Holdwick of Marquette, Katrina (Kurt) Doss of South Boardman, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, Joseph (Sue) McCulloch of Beaverton, Jerry (Bertie) McCulloch of Stockton, CA., Dick (Lois) McCulloch of Harrison, Bill (Joann) McCulloch, Doug McCulloch and a sister Candie McCulloch all of Beaverton as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Todd Shafer will officiate. Burial will follow in Star Township Cemetery, Alba. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alba United Methodist Church.
