Lance Kretschmer

Lance “Louie” Kretschmer, 64, of Bellaire passed away at Munson Hospital on April 23, 2021. He was born in Detroit, MI on April 4, 1957 to Roy and Lois Kretschmer. He graduated from Redford High in 1975. He attended NMC in Traverse City, and moved to Bellaire soon after graduating. He was a long time employee of CRM Powder coating in Traverse City, MI.

He lived his life looking forward to spending time with his family, friends, and of course his dogs. Whether it be on the water, golf course, softball fields, or in the bowling alley, you could always find Lance having a good time.

He is survived by his son Eric (Christina) Kretschmer of Bellaire, his brother Gary (Sue) Kretschmer of Colorado, his sister Gail Kretschmer of Florida, along with niece & nephews Meghan (Kyle) Holland, Chad Kretschmer, and Todd (Jamie) Kretschmer.

The family plans to hold a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to support local youth sports leagues of your choosing in his honor.
