Kerri Samuelson

Kerri Lynn Samuelson, 48, of Charlevoix, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016,after a valiant five year fight with cancer.

Kerri was born November 16, 1967, in Muskegon to Fred Samuelson and Merrilee (Pirtle) Samuelson. She grew up in Muskegon and Owosso, and graduated from Owosso High School. She has lived the last twenty-seven years in Charlevoix.

Kerri worked at the Charlevoix Burger King, the Bergmann Center, and also as a housekeeper.

Kerri always smiled, and she would light up any room with her ear-to-ear smile.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Merrilee and Kenneth Bailey; father, Fred Samuelson of Monague; brother, Frederick Christopher Samuelson of Charlevoix; step-sister, Kelli Bailey of Georgia; step-brother, Kenneth Lee (Julie) Bailey of Kalkaska; and her boyfriend, Edward Rey of Charlevoix.

Visitation for Kerri will be 7-9 pm, Wednesday, April 13, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix.
