Kenneth S. Patton

Kenneth S. Patton,  69, of Central Lake, passed away on July 15, 2022 at his home.

   He was born on October 3, 1952, in Bellaire, the son of Seward and Leila (Crothers) Patton.

   Ken was born and raised in Central Lake.   He enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing, driving school bus for special needs children and was a long time volunteer with both Central Lake and Banks Township Fire Departments.

   He served his country in the U.S. Navy and above all loved his family more than anything.

   On July 29, 1989, in Pleasant Valley, MI, he married Nancy A. (Norin) Patton who survives.   Also surviving are 5 children, Lee (Cynthia) Huffman of Monroe, MI, Joel (Cheryl) Huffman of Monroe, MI, Heather (Ernest) Shafer of Perrysburg, OH, Kevin Patton of Florence, SC, Kenn (Jeannie) Patton of Florence, SC, a sister Barbara (Peter) Gelatt of Alto, MI, 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

   Preceding him in death were a son Noah Huffman, sister Beverly Willson and his parents.

   No services are planned.
