Kenneth Childers

Kenneth R. Childers,  55, of Mancelona, passed away on November 3, 2020 at his home.

He was born on August 21, 1965, in Lapeer, MI, the son of Rollie and Lillian (Case) Childers.

Ken was an electrician by trade and was an avid University of Michigan fan.   He enjoyed hunting, golf, football and NACSAR.

Most of all he loved being with his family.   He was especially very proud of each one of his grandchildren.

In 1990, he married Sheri A. Woollard who survives.  Also surviving are his 3 children, Cheryl Faust of Detroit, Lacy (Jamison) Dawson of Gaylord, Eric Childers of Mancelona, 5 grandchildren, Tonya, Chantel, Brandon, Kenneth and Kiara plus one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rollie and Lillian Childers.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Visitation will be from noon until the time of services also at the funeral home.
