Keith H. Warner, 59, of Kewadin, passed away on February 10, 2015 at his home. Keith was born on July 31, 1955 in Traverse City, the son of Fredrick and Hilda (McLain) Warner. Keith loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time at Roger Swanson's Camp in the UP with his brothers Fred and Neil. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army for many years and was a volunteer Fire Fighter for the Elk Rapids Fire Department for 20 years. On Jan 1, 2000, he married Shirley Wolgamott who preceded him in death in 2011. Shirley was the love of his life, they laughed much, joked with friends, family and each other, traveled much and enjoyed great happiness together. Also preceding him in death were his parents. Surviving are 3 siblings, Fred M. (Sara) Warner, Neil A. (Lin) Warner, Mekia R. (Glenn) Berden, step-son Steven (Shelly) Wogamott, Step-daughters, Vicki MacMaster, Monna (Mark) Youmans, Jodi (Jason) Clark, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Elk Rapids, 16194 Wanigan Drive, Elk Rapids (1/2 mile South of Elk Lake Rd, off U.S. 31) Rev. James C. Redmann will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675.
