Kathryn K. Nancarrow

Kathryn K. Nancarrow,  69, of Mancelona, passed away on July 31, 2024 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

   She was born on September 30, 1954, in Bellaire, the daughter of Gerald and Marjorie (Tobey) LaVanway.

   Kathryn was employed at Shanty Creek Resort for over 20 years and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

   Surviving are 2 daughters, Stephanie (Chris) Turner of Columbia City, IN, Stacy Kline of Portland, MI, 2 brothers, Kenneth (Jan) LaVanway of East Jordan, Anthony LaVanway of East Jordan, 2 sisters, Linda LaVanway of East Jordan, Susan LaVanway of Fife Lake, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren,

   She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Barbara Webster and a nephew Anthony LaVanway.

   Graveside services will take place on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Dunsmore Cemetery, Echo Township with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating.

   Memorial contributions may be made to Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility, 4543 S. M-88 Highway, Bellaire, MI,  49615.
