Kathleen Aenis

Kathleen Jessie Aenis, 87, of Central Lake, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2017 at Eastport Village Care in Eastport. Kathleen was born November 26, 1929 in Antrim County, Michigan, the daughter of William (Bill) and Clara (Weisler) Hebden. Kathleen worked in several factories making car parts, the last being DeStaCo located in Central Lake. She enjoyed being productive in all of her work endeavors whether employment, around the home or with grandchildren. Kathleen enjoyed visiting with family as long as she could serve them some kind of food or refreshment. She also loved her church family at the Central Lake Bible Baptist Church. On December 25, 1948 Kathleen married Ken Aenis who preceded her in death in 2010. Surviving is her brother Charles (Sally) Hebden of Bellaire, Michigan. Also surviving are 3 children K. James (Josie) Aenis of Jacksonville, Florida, Dennis (Jerolyn) Aenis of Central Lake, Michigan, as well as Richard (Linda) Aenis of Central Lake, Michigan, 7 grand children and 18 great grand children. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Richard (Si) and Edward Hebden as well as her parents Bill and Clara (Weisler) Hebden and her great grandson Joshua Benjamin Tripp. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, January 11, at 11 a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Russell Tharp officiating. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 10, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Dunsmore Cemtery, Echo Township in the spring.
