Kathi Wilks

Kathleen A. Wilks, 58, of Bellaire, passed away on October 16, 2013 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Kathi was born on June 30, 1955 in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph and LaDonna (Brackelbauer) Duda. Kathi had a love for the outdoors where she enjoyed flower gardening, fishing and especially deer hunting. She also enjoyed crafting. On April 1, 1978, in Bellaire, she married Dave Wilks who survives. Also surviving are a son Robert (Jessyka) Wilks of Madison, WI., a brother Jason (Erin) Duda of Commerce Twp., MI., 2 sisters, Rebecca (Jim) Connors of Moscow, ID., Martha (Chris) Beach of Alpena, MI., her mother Donna Duda of Lexington, MI., as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Duda and a sister Irene Duda. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services.
