Karen Carron

KAREN M. CARRON, 69, of Central Lake, died on August 28, 2009 at Charlevoix Area Hospital. Karen was born on March 15, 1940 in Minneapolis, MN., the daughter of Roy and Carrie (Huggins) Carlson. Karen resided in Rockwood, MI., for many years, before moving to Central Lake permanently in 1999. Karen was loved by all. She was a great friend to everyone. She enjoyed traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends. On January 4, 1958 in Waukegan, IL., she married Richard Carron who survives. Also surviving are four children, Vickie Lynn Carron of Central Lake, Tammy Marie (Marshall) Reames of Brownstown, MI., Kelly Marie (Phillip) Bemis of San Diego, CA., Jody Lynn (Dino) Guzzi of Rockwood, MI., 6 grandchildren, Brandy, Richard, Chelsea, Chad, Phoenix and Coleton. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial gathering will take place on Tues., Sept. 1 from 4-6 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. A memorial service will take place on Thur., Sept. 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodhaven Baptist Church, 21950 Gudith Rd., Woodhaven MI.
