Karen Carrigan

KAREN J. CARRIGAN, 42, of Mancelona, died on April 1, 2009 at her home. Karen was born on Nov., 9, 1966 the daughter of Floyd and Shirley (DuHoski) Sewell. She enjoyed camping, horseback riding, and animals. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her children. Karen always felt the need to help others. She is survived by her two daughters, Paige and Desirae Carrigan of Mancelona, her mother Shirley Sewell of Gaylord, siblings, Eugene (Joyce) Sewell of Ellsworth, Denise Pattison of Gaylord, Joseph Sewell of Charlevoix, BettyGayle (Carl) Lemorie of Cheboygan, Penny (Wayne) Glazier of Vanderbilt, Cathy Sewell of Illinois, Elaine Laforest of Gaylord, father, ex-husband, father to the girls and continued family friend Raymond Carrigan of Mancelona and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Floyd Sewell. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
