Karen J. Agner, 71, of Monroe, passed away on February 26, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, MI. Karen was born on May 12, 1945, in Central Lake, the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Jensen) Albert. Karen was raised in Central Lake as a young child, then moved to Belleville where she resided for many years. While growing up, she never lost her love for northern Michigan. Often times she would come up on weekends to camp and enjoy the great outdoors. Besides traveling up north , she loved to play card games of any kind. She is survived by 2 sons, Darin (Debbie) Agner, Dwayne Agner both of Monroe, 3 grandchildren, Alecia (Michael), Trisha and Stephanie (Mark), great-granddaughter Ava and a second great-granddaughter Addisyn who will be here in May. She was preceded in death by a son Dean Agner, a brother T. Dan Albert as well as her parents. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 4, at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Gary Bekkering officiating.
