Julie Odmark

Julie Odmark, age 68, lifelong resident of Charlevoix passed away on January 21, 2018 at Boulder Park Terrace.

Julie was born on November 27, 1949 in Charlevoix to the late Clarence A. and Janet L. (Stewart) Odmark.

Julie graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1968. She enjoyed playing flute in the high school band and after graduating she played for the Charlevoix City Band. Julie was a member of the First Congregational Church in Charlevoix and enjoyed spending her time playing puzzle books and bingo. She was especially proud of her niece, Terra Jole Odmark for her starring role in Little Women: LA.

Julie is survived by her brother, Robert “Bob” (Donna) Odmark of Arlington, VA; friend, Jeannie (Bill) Eaton of Charlevoix; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Odmark.

The Charlevoix City Band will hold a concert in Julie’s honor this summer at the Charlevoix Bandshell. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery in the summer of 2018.

Memorial contributions in Julie’s name may be directed to Boulder Park Terrace or the Charlevoix City Band.
