Julie H. Farmer, age 47 of Charlevoix passed away on June 4, 2018 at the Georgia House.
Julie was born on October 16, 1970 in Charlevoix, to James (Tina) Zeitler Sr. and Carol Richards.
In 1989, she graduated from Charlevoix High School. Julie worked for many years at both Michigan Scientific as a technician and Harbor Industries as an engineering assistant.
Julie enjoyed spending her free time, running, skiing, golfing, shopping, going to the beach to lay in the sun, gathering with friends and going on adventures. She was always planning a new trip and what she was going to see next. Her biggest joy in life came from her three children.
Julie is survived by her 3 children, Brooke (Cam) Canupp of California, Brandon Farmer and Bree Farmer both of Charlevoix, father, James (Tina) Zeitler Sr. of Charlevoix, mother, Carol Richards of Charlevoix, 2 brothers, James Zeitler Jr. of Bay City and Todd Carpenter of Charlevoix, sister, Jacqueline Zeitler of Charlevoix, aunt and caretaker, Darlene Bolser of East Jordan, best friends Heather and Holly Matheny of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents.
A celebration of Julie’s life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions in Julie’s name may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Michigan, 220 W. Garfield Ave, Charlevoix, MI 49720.
