Julia Caroline LaBeau

Julia C. LaBeau, 100 of Mancelona passed away peacefully, January 19, 2024 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.  She was born January 28, 1923 in Flint the youngest daughter of Frank and Katherine (Drap) Kielian.

She enjoyed living many years on Big Twin Lake in Kalkaska County and all it had to offer.  She also enjoyed working outside gardening and sewing too.  

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved daughter Lisa (Terry) Schepperley, grandchildren Kelsi K. Schepperley, Kyle G. (Brooke) Schepperley, Kevin W. Schepperley, and great granddaughter Cora Jaye.  She was preceded in death by her husband George LaBeau in 1991, and her siblings Frank, Blackie, and Emily.     

No services are planned at this time. Spring inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
