Judy D. Przybylski, age 66 of Charlevoix passed away on February 13, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.
Judy was born on February 17, 1951 in Charlevoix to the late Robert and Beatrice (Beardsley) Somerville.
She worked for the City of Charlevoix in several different positions for over 33 years until her retirement in 2009. Judy was a strong willed Scottish/Irish woman. She was hard working and took care of everyone who crossed her path. Judy always tried to brighten everyone’s day and will be remembered for the smiles she brought to people through the fun hats she wore. She enjoyed spending her time traveling. She loved animals especially her dog Shilo but her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Edward Jr.) Pitcher and Misty Falting both of Charlevoix; brother, Darryl (Sandy) Somerville of Bay Shore; grandchildren, Morgan (Willie) Jacobus, Jacob Zeeryp Jr., Lauren and Logan Pitcher, Bailey and Justin Falting; one great granddaughter, Lilah on the way and several nieces and nephews.
On October 14, 1972 Judy married Michael S. Przybylski who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and half-sister, Donna Byers.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Greensky Hill Fellowship Hall in Charlevoix. Interment will take place in Spring 2018 at Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Charlevoix Area Human Society.
