Judy Ann Burley

Judy Ann Burley, 71 of Mancelona, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 24, 1951, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Cushaway) Grody.

Judy was a devoted and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved spending time with her family and they were most important to her.  She also enjoyed shopping and decorating for the holidays.  Judy was a fan of hot weather and traveled often to Florida and Arizona to enjoy it!

   Left to cherish her memory are her children Shawn (Alanna) Burley of Mancelona, Monaca (Eric) Laskey of St. Augustine, FL, Heather Burley of Traverse City, sister Tammy (Tod) O’dell of Mancelona, grandchildren Terry (Olivia), Jessica, Sunny, Ariel, Vincent, Taylor, Emilee, Jordan, Annabelle, Lily, Isiac, Carlee, Shaylia, Benjamin, great grandchildren Urijah, Finnley, Tatum, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett in 2012, sister Diane Schafer, brother Robert Grody, grandson Benjamin Burley and son in law Thomas Laskey.

   Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 16^th at 3p.m at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Family will receive friends Monday, May 15^th from 4 to 6 p.m. also at the funeral home.  Private family interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.  Memorial contributions can be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
