Judith Buffman

JUDITH MARIE BUFFMAN 52, OF Central Lake, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Judy was born October 2, 1957, the daughter of Donald and Beverly (Brown) Olds. A Master Gardener, she was employed by Texas Instruments and then Second Chance Body Armor as their Outdoor Mantainence Supervisor. On July 1, 2000 she married Daniel Buffman who survives. Also surviving are her children Kristie and Matthew Sexton, her parents Donald and Sonya Olds of Central Lake, a sister Tammy (Joseph) Fischer of Bellaire,a brother Jeff Olds of Lansing, three step brothers Eddie (Diane) Palazzolo, Mike (Sue) Palazzolo, Tony and Gloria Palazzolo all of Byron Center, a step sister Maria (Tom) Long of Wyoming, MI, her father and mother in law Howard and Marcella Buffman of Central Lake, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Beverly in 1985, a brother Donnie Olds in 1978, a nephew Joshua Olds and a step sister Rosie Palazzolo. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Eleven am at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, with Rev. Harold Kruse officiating The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
