Joyce Bedore

Joyce M. Bedore, 75, of Ellsworth, died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home.

She was born December 8, 1942 in Detroit to Van and Virginia (Legret) Ryskewicz.

On February 11, 1967 she married Edward Bedore Jr in Highland Park, Michigan. They lived in Fraser and moved to Ellsworth in 2006.

Joyce and Jim owned and operated “The Odd Ball” surplus store in Detroit for 10 years. Joyce was a cashier at Target in Clinton Township for 17 years.

Joyce attended Eastport Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the casino, movies and going out to eat. She loved her grandchildren and her puppies.

Surviving are her husband Jim; children Nicholas (Michelle) Bedore of Santa Clarita, Calif., Debra Molaroni of Aiken, S.C., Julie (Matt) Ursitti of New Baltimore, Mich., and Michelle Bedore of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Roberta (Mark) Boyd of Grosse Pointe, Mich., Michael Ryskewicz of St. Clair Shores, Mich., Dennis (Joann) Ryskewicz of Detroit. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ronald Ryskewicz, sisters Nancy Stanisky and Linda Krzysztalow.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth with the Rev. Jerry Troyer officiating. www.hastingsfuneral.com.
