Josephine Bindi

Josephine M. Bindi, 93, of Charlevoix, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016, at Boulder Park Terrace Nursing Home in Charlevoix. She was born March 10, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., to Frank and Catherine (Rapasz) Jaskierski. She lived in Chicago until moving to Charlevoix in 1958.

Josie worked at Hoskin's Manufacturing, Lexalite International, and American Mold – all in Charlevoix.

Josephine was a member of Saint Mary's Church in Charlevoix, the Rosary Altar Society, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son, Ronald G. Bindi of Charlevoix. Josie was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and John Jaskierski, and sisters, Mary Jones, and Eleanor Nowakowski.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Monday, February 1, 2016, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix, where the Rosary will be recited at 6:15pm. Funeral mass will be 11:30am, Tuesday, February 2, at Saint Mary's Church in Charlevoix.
