Joli Mabry

Joli Grace Mabry, age 56, a resident of Bellaire, passed away at Munson Medical Center on October 25, 2023, due to complications from COVID. She was born on July 22, 1967, at Kalkaska Hospital and was raised in Bellaire by her mother, Sally Ann Corner.

Throughout her life, she had the opportunity to live in various places, including Alaska, Florida, Illinois, and later returned to Michigan. Joli had a beautiful voice and found joy in singing whenever and wherever she could. Additionally, she had an adventurous spirit, which led her to enjoy skydiving in her earlier years. She fearlessly leaped out of airplanes at astonishing heights and speeds, descending gracefully with the support of her parachute.

Joli is survived by her mother, Sally Ann Corner, of Bellaire, her children, Daxter Hutto (Raven) of Bellaire, Nathan Mabry (Taryn) of Marion, IN, and Jeffrey Zajac (Michelle) of Bunnell, FL, her siblings Remos Lenio (Julie) of Ludington, Ann J. Flores (Albert) of Hemlock, and Jade L. Bowan (Carl) of Jackson, TN and grandchildren Christina Cummings and Nathaniel Zajac. In addition to her immediate family, Joli will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and her best friend and loyal dog, BabyGirl.

A memorial service to celebrate Joli's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the Fresh Start Wesleyan Church in Bellaire.

Joli was an organ donor through Gift of Life, and she would wish for those who are willing to sign up as organ donors, to provide for individuals suffering from organ failure. In addition, Joli always benefited from the kindness of others, and we encourage everyone to be kind to others in honor of Joli's memory.
