John Gaddis

John D. Gaddis Jr, 60, of Elk Rapids, died peacefully, Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Munson Hospice House. He was born October 8, 1955 in Detroit the son of John A. and Luanne (Bailie) Gaddis. The family moved to Central Lake and he graduated from Central Lake High School in 1973. He continued to live in Central Lake for many years working for his parents business "That'sa Pizza" and most recently as a paper route driver for the Record Eagle. John enjoyed spending his time reading, watching moves, riding his bike, and walking. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family. John was an avid Green Bay Packer's fan and loved to cheer on his team! Surviving John is his mother Luanne, his brother Robert William Gaddis of Belmont, MI; his sister Robyn (Richard) Meadows of Harrisburg, PA, his nephews Matt and Daniel Gaddis, Nicholas (Tiffany) Meadows, niece Kaitlyn Meadows, and great nephew Alexander Meadows. A private family burial will take place in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake. Memorial donations may be directed to Munson Hospice.
