Jody Newton Rascon

Jody L. Newton Rascon 67 of Central Lake passed away peacefully in her brother’s home, Friday, June 16, 2017.

She was born November 28, 1949 in Glendale, CA, the daughter of Fredrick Jr. and Jean (Brady) Newton.  Jody retired from Honeywell in Boyne City, after years of dedicated service.

Jody loved to spend time with her granddaughters.  They were the light of her life and brought her much joy.  In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, watching movies and spending time with her dear friend Debbie Conklin.

Surviving Jody are her children Wayne Rascon Jr. of Macomb and Rochelle Rascon of Boyne Falls, her brother Dan (Conie) Newton of Central Lake, and her beloved grandchildren Tianna Hill, Savannah Rascon, Xaylei Rascon, and Tabitha Rascon.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Laurie Cocking.

Private family interment will take place in Dunsmore Cemetery, Echo Township.  Memorial contributions can be given to an Autism charity of one’s choice or to Challenge Mountain, PO Box 764, Boyne City, MI 49712.
