Jodi K. (Cummings) Russell, 47, of Petoskey passed away peacefully in her home Saturday morning May 14th.
Jodi was born June 1, 1968 in Charlevoix to Herb & Ginny (Hamlin) Cummings. Jodi graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1986. She loved her family, especially her four sons, and also had a great love of animals, specifically cats. Jodi had a number of passions, from baking and cooking, to landscaping and building and applied these passions to her various occupations throughout her life. She had a big heart and was always willing to help others in need.
Jodi is survived by her four sons, Andrew, Nathan, and Gavin Russell all of Florida, and Adam Russell of Petoskey; grandson, Brayden Russell of Charlevoix; her parents, Herb and Ginny Cummings of Charlevoix; her grandmother, Sara Cummings of Charlevoix; two sisters, Heather (Scott) Ford of Boyne City, and Lori (Tim) Turkowski of Little Falls, Minn.; three nieces, Ella Ford, and Ashley and Abby Turkowski; nephew, Michael Knight; three aunts; three uncles; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, located at 06781 M66 N in Charlevoix, on Saturday May 21st at 10am followed by a memorial service at 11am. A luncheon will follow.
