Joan Dunson

JOAN DUNSON, 89, of Anderson, IN., formerly of Bellaire, passed away on September 5, 2012 in Anderson. Joan was born on April 28, 1923 in London, England, the daughter of Thomas and Mabel (Holland) Riddington. Joan was a long time resident of Bellaire where she was a active in the Antrim County Commission on Aging and enjoyed traveling. Joan resided in England until 1946 when she moved to Bellaire. While in England she was in the WAAF (Women's Auxillary Air Force) for 2 years. On July 17, 1944, in London, England, she married Carlton "Buds" Dunson who preceded her in death in 2004. Also preceding her in death were her parents and an infant daughter Julie. She is survived by two children, Jacqueline (Allen) Morris of Evanston, Wyoming, Glen (Tracy) Dunson of Anderson, Indiana, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will take place on Saturday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire. Pastor Carl Litchfield will officiate.
