Jewell Crickenberger

Jewell Mae Crickenberger, 90 of Charlevoix, was ushered into the arms of her Savior and Lord Jesus on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

She was born January 30, 1927 in Salsbury, North Carolina, the daughter of William Young Allen and Ethel Mae Link.

Jewell graduated from Newport News High School in Virginia and worked as a telephone operator.  She eventually retired from the Colonial Store in 1977 with over 20 years of service when the family moved to Coraopolis, PA.  In 1981, the family made their residence in Charlevoix.

Jewel is best known as a beloved wife, a cherished mom, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother, and an amazing friend.

Surviving Jewell is her husband of 57 years, Aubrey Dillard Crickenberger; two daughters Crystal Ann Walker, Debra Lee Niswander; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many cousins.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Jeannie Marie Ford, son John Walker, her parents, and brother William Young Allen, Jr.

Please join us as we celebrate the full life of Jewell at her memorial service on Sunday, November 12th at 2 p.m. at Center Point Assembly, M-66, Charlevoix.
