Jessie Papineau

Jessie H. Papineau, 95, of Charlevoix, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016. She was born February 18, 1921, in Dearborn to Robert A. and Betsy (Archibald) McLean.

On December 18, 1943, she married Charles C. Papineau at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. They spent their summers in Charlevoix for many years before moving there permanently in 1974. Chuck died December 31, 2011.

Jessie is survived by her children, Greg Papineau of Brownstown, Chris (Lynn) Papineau of Charlevoix; daughter, Betsy (Hugh) Mason of Charlevoix; grandchildren, Joe Papineau, Peggy (Andrew) Strachan, Cathy Saccone, Scott (Julie) Papineau, Chuck and Matthew Mason; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Helen See; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Annie.

At Jessie's request, there will be no services.
