Jerry Wright

Jerry W. Wright,  78, of Mancelona, passed away on September 29, 2018 at his home.

Jerry was born on August 9, 1940, in Mancelona, the son of Donald and Arbutus (Brown) Wright.

Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.

On April 29, 1958, in Lansing, MI, he married Judy Fox who survives.  Also surviving are 4 sons, Rick Wright of Houghton Lake, Gary Wright of Mancelona, Bob Wright of Mancelona, Don (Kimberlee) Wright of Columbia, TN, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters, Suzie, Kayann and Karen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Pete Calvin.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Ross Corne officiating.  Visitation will take place from noon until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment with military honors will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
