Jerry Bean

JERRY W. BEAN, 57, of Mancelona, died on July 12, 2010 at his home. Jerry was born on March 1, 1953 in Detroit, the son of James Jr. and Kaye (Creason) Bean. Jerry was an active member of the Alba Sportsman Club and enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and helping others. Jerry was a Mancelona resident for the past 5 years. On June 8, 2010 he married Anna Knowles who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Lisa, Jessica and Ashley, 3 step-children, Markus, Cheyanne, Gerold, 3 brothers, James, David and William Bean, his mother Kaye Bean of Warren and Mancelona, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father James Bean in 1998. A benefit breakfast will be held on Sunday, July 18 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Alba Sportsman Club. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
