Jeremy John Moses, 37, of Charlevoix, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015, at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 21, 1977, in Port Huron to Terrance and Vicki L. (Wynkoop) Moses. Jeremy grew up in Charlevoix and was a graduate of Charlevoix Public Schools. A self taught mechanic, he earned his Master Mechanic certification, and owned J&S Auto Repair in Charlevoix. He loved to tinker and considered mechanical challenges more of a hobby than work. He married the former Starlene Butterfield, and she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Terrance Curtis Moses, and Jacob Moses; daughter, Jennahka Moses; stepdaughters, Olivia and Alexis Butterfield; mother, Vicki L. (Ronnie) McWatters of Charlevoix; brothers, Josh (Janelle Kassien) Moses of Charlevoix, William (Jamie) McWatters of Guemas Island, Wash., Jordan (Marja) McWatters of Silver Bay, Minn.; sisters, Ronda (Mike) Stutzman of Manistee, Maria Jenkins of Abingdon, Va., Mary B. (Greg Fuller) McWatters of Harbor Springs; maternal grandfather, Richard Wynkoop of Charlevoix. Jeremy's father, Terry Moses preceded him in death in 1996. A celebration of Jeremy's life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, May 16, at the Depot Beach in Charlevoix. Interment will take place in the Norwood Cemetery.
