Jeanne Trendle

Jeanne A. Trendle of Eastport, was taken by our Lord on October 27, 2010 from Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. Jeanne was born on June 30, 1928, in Ludington and was preceded in death by her parents Mabel and Erwin Koepsell and a brother Donald Koepsell. She is survived by her husband of 26, years walter trendle and four children John, Gregory, Christopher, and Terri Bonfiglio and step-son Kurt Trendle. Jeanne leaves behind eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jeanne loved playing tennis and played as often as possible both in Michigan and Arizona. People may also remember Jeanne as an accomplished potter, owning the small shop the "Village Potter" in Glen Arbor. Visitation will take place on Fri. Oct. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a 7 p.m. vigil for the deceased. Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 10 am on Sat. Oct. 30, with Rev. Robert J. Zuchowski presiding, also at the church. Burial will be in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Cemetery in Empire. Memorial donations may be given in her memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 143 Charles St., Elk Rapids, MI 49629.
